Walter Kaiser Dr. Walter Kaiser

President Emeritus and Distinguished Professor of Old Testament and Ethics at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Walt Kaiser is widely recognized as one of the best communicators and teachers in the evangelical world. He is a leading Old Testament scholar and graduate of Wheaton Graduate School (B.D.) and Brandeis University (Ph.D.). Kaiser taught at Wheaton College and then at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School from 1963 until 1992, where he served as professor and chairman of the Old Testament Department at Trinity and later as vice president and academic dean. He was the first Colman M. Mockler Distinguished Professor of Old Testament at Gordon-Conwell Seminary before becoming President. He has authored 39 books and commentaries, including Toward an Old Testament Theology, Biblical Hermeneutics, Toward Old Testament Ethics, Hard Sayings of the Old Testament, and Revive Us Again. He also edited the NIV Archeological Study Bible. He and his wife Marge live on their Wisconsin farm when not ministering and speaking around the world.


Elaine Storkey Dr. Elaine Storkey

One of the most experienced writers and speakers in relating the Christian Gospel to contemporary culture. Formerly, Senior Research Fellow in theology at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford University. Was a member of the Theology Faculty at Kings College, London, and lectured also for Birkbeck College, London. Was the director of the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity founded by John Stott. Author of eight books, writes regularly for four newspapers, and is featured in a weekly broadcast on the BBC. Member of the Anglican General Synod, Vice-President of the University of Gloucestershire and President of Tearfund, a Christian relief and development agency based in the UK.


Harold Dean Trulear Dr. Harold Dean Trulear

Associate Professor of Applied Theology and Director of the Doctor of Ministry program at Howard University School of Divinity since 2003. Previously served as Visiting Distinguished Professor of Religion and Public Policy at the Templeton Honors College at Eastern University, and held faculty positions at Yale University, Colgate Rochester Divinity School, The Center for Urban Theological Studies (Geneva College), and Jersey City State College. Served as pastor of churches in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Known for his research in religion and public policy, the church and criminal justice, African-American religious history, and congregational studies. Author of Faith Based Initiatives with High Risk Youth and The African American Church and Welfare Reform. President of GLOBE Ministries of Philadelphia, a youth and family services agency; Fellow, Center for Public Justice in Annapolis, Maryland; and consultant to the Faith and Families portfolio of the Annie E. Casey Foundation.
